McCall SummerFest 2018: Thursday at the Theatre Orchestra Concert
This years pops concert will showcase musical favorites from movies and stage. With orchestral arrangements by James Horner, Frederick Loewe, Henry Mancini and Rodgers & Hammerstein, they will rekindle happy musical memories. Stage actress and vocalist Rachel Tyler will bring her own style to songs like Don't Rain on My Parade, If He Walked into My Life and New York, New York, to name just a few.
British songstress Rachel Tyler has been treading the boards for more than 20 years and is currently appearing in Le Rêve - The Dream at Wynn Las Vegas. Prior to that, she starred in Steve Wynn's Showstoppers, also in Las Vegas. She has worked on the West End of London, in New York and all over Europe. She has performed in some of the world's most popular shows, such as Mamma Mia, Miss Saigon, Grease and The Rocky Horror Show. She is a long-standing member of Actors' Equity and can often be seen performing her own cabaret show in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. She recently performed for John Bucchino at The Gardenia and makes frequent appearances at Los Angeles' Rockwell Table & Stage, and The E Spot Lounge, a jazz club owned and frequented by Sheila E.
