Peepshow Menagerie's "A Burlesque Christmas Carol"
PEEPSHOW MENAGERIE presents "A BURLESQUE CHRISTMAS CAROL"
Peepshow Menagerie presents a theatrical burlesque parody of the classic story by Charles Dickens in which grumpy Ebenezer Scrooge fires his nephew and decides to sell the old burlesque house on Christmas eve. This leads to him being visited by 3 ghostly spirits who try to show him the error of his ways in order to save the Holidays for everyone. How will it end? Will Scrooge find a change of heart...or is Christmas ruined for everyone? One things for sure... People are going to lose most of their clothes.
You know, because burlesque.
Peepshow Menagerie has been providing theatrical burlesque shows to Los Angeles since 2008 featuring many of the best burlesque performers, comedians, magicians, and bands from around the world. This is a great show for newcomers to burlesque, casual burlesque fans, birthday parties, and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Also an ideal date night!
Get there early to take advantage of the comfortable seating. The show generally starts 45 minutes after the doors open (see below for scheduled times).
