Come join us on Wednesday, December 6th at 7pm for an incredible night of jazz featuring legendary drummer Harvey Mason.
Harvey Mason has been a busy studio musician, jazz drummer, record producer, and member of the band Fourplay throughout his career. He has worked with numerous artists including: Barbra Streisand, James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Jennifer Hudson, Frank Sinatra and John Legend. Mason's adept style enables him to perform within numerous styles, genres and areas within the music industry.
Hackett Catholic Prep is privileged and honored to host Mr. Harvey Mason as part of the MSUFCU Jazz Artist in Residence grant program. The show will feature music performed by Harvey Mason and the Michigan State University Jazz Orchestra 1. The Hackett Jazz Band will open the evening's performance.
