Bell Tower Concerts Presents Dan Davey and a Night of Jazz
Dan Davey works as a professional pianist, pipe organist, and trumpet player in the greater Boston and Portland areas, which includes musical pit orchestras in addition to solo work. He plays trumpet in the South Coast Jazz Orchestra and has performed in venues such as Ryles Jazz Club, the Tweeter Center, and the Bank of America Pavilion. He has performed with the John Allmark Big Band and played piano regularly with Herb Reed and the Platters. He currently is the Director of Jazz Studies at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, where he directs all jazz ensembles and teaches core music courses.
Bell Tower Concerts is a series of music experiences on first Wednesdays, featuring local performers of all genres, offering their skills in order to provide some on-going support for the historic building home of Taborspace.
