Reflections of Country and Longing
Throughout history, people have felt the acute pain of being separated from their homeland. It doesn't matter if it is a separation by choice or necessity, or if the separation is physical or emotional. We all know - too well - what it means to long for the home we remember, the times we lost, and the people we love. Our program explores this universal diaspora, and we invite you to join us as we visit composers who yearn for home, their anchor in a spinning universe.

Featuring the works of Butterworth, Copland, Donizetti, Debussy, Haas, Klein, Puccini, Refice, Rossini, Stradella and Wagner

With special thanks to our presenting sponsor: The Boston Opera Collaborative
