"here, look" ~ ahdanco's 2010 Home Season
Bay Area dance company ahdanco presents "here, look", an evening of new works choreographed by Abigail Hosein for the company's 2010 Home Season as part of Shawl-Anderson Dance Center's Dance Up Close/East Bay Series.
Hosein's work is said, by Rita Feliciano, to "employ a well-chosen imaginative vocabulary which produce[s] choreographies with emotional resonance." (Voice of Dance, March 2008) "here, look" is designed to open up and provide entry into the human psyche in an overtly narrative way that lets one reflect on, relate to, asses, empathize with, and accept those things that separate and/or attach us as human beings coexisting in a chaotic world.
