San Diego Classical Mandolin Camp 2015
Welcome to the San Diego Classical Mandolin Camp, directed by classical mandolinist, and educator, Chris Acquavella. The SDCMC will explore the depth and breadth of the classical mandolin, from baroque to modern times, through 5 days of intensive classes, rehearsals, and concerts. We are very excited to have the very talented, Ricardo Sandoval as the SDCMC special guest artist from Europe. Also joining us this year will be Professor Bill Bradbury. Bill will be with us for the first half of the camp to focus on basics and music theory.
The 2015 SDCMC will take place from July 27th - August 2 at the beautiful Crowne Plaza San Diego Hotel.
Chris, Ricardo, and Bill are all fantastic teachers and performers. They will lead you through a well thought out curriculum of the classical mandolin's technique and repertoire.
The week will start on Monday evening, 7/27 at 6:00PM, for a meet and greet. Classes start Tuesday, 7/28 at 9:00 AM, and run through Saturday, with evening concerts starting at 8:00 PM. It will be a very full and rewarding week!!!
