MY 5 MINUTES
Are you in need of inspiration? Creativity? Are you a seasoned performer wanting to branch out in a new direction? Or a new performer wanting a beautiful, safe, supportive environment to play in?! Then please join us!
1. WARM UP: Everyone begins with simple, guided exercises to relax and cultivate energy.
2. Each person has an opportunity to SHARE for 5 minutes.***
3. After each sharing, everyone writes or draws simple APPRECIATIONS for the performer.
Some POSSIBILITIES for sharing include telling a story - PLANNED OR IMPROVISED, reading poetry, singing, dancing, playing an instrument, sharing a piece of art.
***You are welcome to simply observe instead of share.

Facilitated by Penina (Peggy) Horowitz. "Penina's work with Expressive Arts is like nothing else. So amazing. She has a gift for helping you get in touch with what is truly your essence. I highly recommend her classes and work!" Tammy West Penina is a Play Facilitator with Advanced Graduate Studies in the Professional Applications of the Expressive and Creative Arts from Salve Regina University. She has been inspiring creativity in people of all ages for many years. Penina plays congas in the band Las Gabacha-chas, loves to speak in accents and gibberish. She is available for individual and group Expressive Arts sessions. Her "Gifts of Grief" program enables people to transform their emotions through a self-healing journal with Art and Writing (Mandalas and Haiku).
