Oregon Symphony Associate Principal Horn, Joe Berger, has selected some of his favorite chamber music for winds and strings, and some of his favorite musical colleagues to help with this journey through Vienna and Prague. OSO Concertmaster Sarah Kwak and pianist Cary Lewis will also perform 2 short works for violin and piano (below).
Works on the program are: Mozart- Horn Quintet in E-flat major Martinu- Nonet for winds and strings Janacek- Mladi (Youth) Aus der Heimat- Bedrich Smetana (Kwak/Lewis) Adagio in E for Violin and Piano-Mozart (Kwak/Lewis)
