Live music, dancing, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and cash bar will provide financial support for PeaceQuilts work in Haiti. It will be a rockin' good time with music by the Prescription, with the Side Effect Horns.
Included throughout the evening will be a sale of Haitian art, quilts, bags, jewelry and household products. Thanks to the generosity of PeaceQuilts' friends and supporters, there will be a silent auction that includes some fun and unusual offerings.
Through PeaceQuilts, nearly 100 women in 6 cooperatives across central and southern Haiti are learning and applying new skills to make beautiful quilts, bags, jewelry and more. They are building their own businesses to create a better life for themselves and their families.
Come join the fun while supporting economic empowerment of women in Haiti.
This event is possible thanks to the generous support of David & Shirley Dayton, Art Carlucci & Son, Inc., the Jacobs brothers, Tom & Lee, The Bennington Museum, Karen & David Mellinger, George & Kathy Matthews, and McClintock Law Office, P.C.
