Bach St. Mark Passion
J.S. Bach's fascinating St. Mark Passion was reconstructed from the surviving libretto, using music from Cantata 198 and several other Bach sources. The American premiere was given by the King's Chapel Choir in 1980.
The King's Chapel Choir and Soloists, conducted by Heinrich Christensen, will be joined by a chamber orchestra for the final concert of the season.
Doors open at 4:30pm, open seating. Validated discount parking is available at One Beacon Garage, across the street from the chapel.
