Instrument Petting Zoo and Kids Workshop
Bring your kids, ages 4 and up, to Emmanuel Church, 24 Masconomo St, Manchester, for the Instrument Petting Zoo and a chance to try playing a violin or cello under the guidance of expert MSCM string players. Immediately following the Petting Zoo will be the Kids Workshop which includes performances by a string quartet of MSCM musicians and an interactive exploration of rhythm and beat that will allow kids to join in the music making.
Our kids program is FREE and made possible in part by the Manchester Local Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Special thanks also goes to Johnson String Instrument of Newton, MA for providing the instruments and to Emmanuel Church for hosting the event.
