Tour De North End 2014
This is the 4the year for #TDNE, Rockford's original neighborhood bike festival, The Tour de North End. Over 600 cyclists are expected to turn out for an afternoon of fun & bike riding. One lucky person will win a Fat Tire Cruiser Bike, and others will win prizes, but everyone will have fun.
Schedule :
12pm-2pm Register at The Olympic Tavern ($10 online in advance / $12 day of event) with $2 going to a cycling charity.
1-5pm Ride throughout the neighborhood collecting stamps (no purchase necessary). The more stamps you collect, the more entries you get for the bike drawing.
5:30 - Drawings for prizes. (don't be late!)
6 - Rock & Roll Institute plays live
8 - Free Movie! Watch Pee Wee's Big Adventure outside with us on the inflatable big screen

Goals:
Raise awareness and encourage safe cycling habits throughout the whole city,
Get people outside, active, and patronizing North End businesses,
Show off the North End as a great place to live, work and play,
Have a lot of fun in the process.
UNDER 21 ENCOURAGED TO RIDE, BUT PER STATE LAW MAY NOT WIN PRIZES.
