World renown percussionist "Munyungo Jackson and Friends" will perform in an intimate backyard setting on Sunday, May 25th from 2pm to 5pm.
Munyungo Jackson has performed with a who's who of musicians including Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Kenny Loggins, The Temptations, George Howard, Ronnie Laws and is currently working with Stevie Wonder as well as with the Miles Davis Bitches Brew Remix.
The backyard gate opens at 1pm for "mingling and mimosas". WIne, beer, mint lemonade, sweet tea and of course water will be served.
Music begins at 2:00. At 3 the band takes a break for you to enjoy lunch provided by Jalisco's Taco Grill. Then at 4:00 the band will play their final set with an impressive list of Munyungo's musical friends sitting in.
Rarely will you be able to get this up close and personal with so many world class musicians. Don't miss this singularly entertaining event.
