Film Screening and Dinner
KARAMA, co-sponsor of the Arab Film Festival in San Diego presents a two-part evening event at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park.
The evening will include the San Diego premier of Annemarie Jacir's film When I Saw You, which was awarded Best Asian Film at the Berlin International Film Festival, Best Arab Film in Abu Dhabi and was Palestine's 2013 Oscar Entry. When I Saw You was filmed in Jordan with a local cast and crew and was entirely Arab-financed with all-Palestinian producers.
The film screening will be preceded by a catered dinner featuring Middle Eastern cuisine in the Museum's elegant atrium.
Please note that When I Saw You is not rated. The opening scene includes language that may not be suitable for very young viewers.
