"America the Beautiful" Benefit Film Screening

Filmmaker Darryl Roberts will present and discuss his award-winning, humorous, socially probing documentary "America the Beautiful", which explores the question, "Does America have an unhealthy obsession with beauty?" For more info, visit www.americathebeautifuldoc.com.
Proceeds will benefit two important nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area: About-Face (about-face.org), based in San Francisco, equips women and girls with tools to understand and resist harmful media messages that affect their self-esteem and body image. Beyond Hunger (beyondhunger.org), in San Rafael, provides support for individuals with eating disorders and debilitating body hatred.
