Dawn's Light Album Release Concert
Join local Winnipeg harpist Samantha Ballard for a musical tour through the fantastical land of Solistia, with solo harp performances from her new album, Dawn's Light: An Octopath Traveler II Harp Collection!
Featuring over ten pieces from the new album, the program showcases Samantha's distinctive arranging style and expressive musical performance. Each piece is Samantha's own arrangement of the music from Yasunori Nishiki's soundtrack of the Octopath Traveler II video game.
The music of Octopath Traveler is reminiscent of classic soundtracks like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Xenoblade Chronicles. Fans of these series are sure to enjoy the harp renditions of Octopath Traveler's soundtrack.
However, no video game experience is required! These beautiful melodies and evocative harmonies are sure to captivate any audience.

Samantha Ballard is a classically trained harpist, arranger, and recording artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After completing her bachelor's degree in harp performance at UBC in Vancouver, she returned home to Winnipeg where she now enjoys an exciting and diverse career.
Her classical-style harp arrangements of video game music have garnered over 8 million views on Youtube and more than 50,000 subscribers.
