Champion the Dream to Save Our Youth Gala
Inner City Youth SF and TYMFS: Transforming Young Minds for Future Solutions have partnered for the Champion the Dream to Save Our Youth Gala, and invite you to join us for a memorable evening. Festivities will include a fabulous dinner, musical performance by the Monte Vista Jazz Messengers and Program hosted by Amar Khalil of platinum selling group Tony! Toni! Tone'! During the Program, there will be a special presentation recognizing Superbowl Champ Marshawn "Beastmode" Lynch for his philanthropic work through the Fam 1st Family Foundation, a viewing of the 30-minute Youth-focused documentary "I Just Wanna Ball" (go to www.ijustwannaball.com for trailer) a silent auction followed by dancing with music provided by DJ Blend of Mega 100 and DJ Roxwell.
Proceeds from the Gala will support the 2-Day Save Our Youth Summer Summit at the Stockton Civic Auditorium, a free, community-benefit event for 2,500 Central Valley Youth. All donations are tax deductible through Inner City Youth SF.

"Save Our Youth" Summer Summit Highlights
Day One of the Youth Summit will focus on enhancing social skills, literacy, conflict/anger management, substance abuse prevention, community service, disaster preparedness, entrepreneurship and overall healthy lifestyles. The Summit will include presentations by Freeway Ricky Ross of the Freeway Literacy Foundation and conscious rapper Jasiri X, along with a viewing of a 30-minute, Sports-focused Youth Documentary, "I Just Wanna Ball" directed by Robert "Fleetwood" Bowden, Case Manager with Inner City Youth SF. Day Two of the Summit will include workshops conducted by several Industry professionals on "Breaking into the Entertainment Business," featuring Larry Batiste, Grammy Awards Music Director and Board Trustee for the Grammy Foundation.
