Hankus Netsky, one of the leading figures of the klezmer revival and the contemporary Yiddish music scene, explores the legacies of Bronia Sakina, Leon Schwartz, Sidney Beckerman, Pete Sokolow, Ruth Rubin, Theodore Bikel, and Chane Mlotek as major teachers of our generation and major figures who enabled the contemporary artistic resurgence of Yiddish musical culture.
