Confluence Zen Center Capital Campaign Concert Featuring Farshid and Friends
Honoring our Lineage/ Building our legacy
Confluence Zen Center STL is a small Zen Center that formed because a group of practitioners saw the need for a place in St.Louis where people could practice Zazen (meditation) together at least several times a week in a quiet, welcoming environment.
Last year, the Confluence Zen Center was fortunate to purchase our own building.
This year, 2023, will be another important year for the Confluence Zen Center. We are gearing up for a Capital Campaign to greatly reduce our mortgage. Our goal is to raise $100,000. So far we have been able to raise $30,000 in donations and pledges from CZC Board members.
The next part of the campaign is important as we reach out to our members and friends.
On behalf of the Confluence Zen Center, I am inviting you to make a contribution to the Campaign.
This could either be a one-time gift or it could be a three-year pledge.
We have momentum. We have a new building. We have lots of potential.
The city of St.Louis faces many challenges. We believe that by making the Dharma accessible to the public that the entire St.Louis region benefits when even a few people are engaged in Zen practice.
Please consider helping to secure the future of the Confluence Zen Center which is dedicated to the practice of awakening to the true Self as expounded by the Buddha, Dogen Zenji, and Keizazn Zenji.

The evening musicians- Farshid Etniko, Emerson Magano
Farshid Etniko and Friends
Through his travels, Farshid accumulated the music of the world, making it his own, weaving the variety of styles and influences together into a sound that is unique and familiar. His band, Farshid Etniko is an ensemble that performs Latin, popular Jazz standards, as well as compositions that blend Middle Eastern & Flamenco influences with Latin beats and American Blues sensibilities.
