Oakland Youth Chorus presents "In the Name of Love"
Mother's Day weekend brings another wonderful spring concert from the award-winning singers of the Oakland Youth Chorus. Singers ages 5-21 will grace the First Presbyterian Church of Oakland (the original home of the OYC) singing songs to celebrate love. The talented voices of the Concert Chorus and Middle School Magic Chorus will fill this glorious spring evening, and the elementary school Miracle Choruses (nearly 100 strong) will delight as usual. The program includes folk songs, world music, spirituals, and contemporary songs, as well as a wonderful group sing-a-long to Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds." Join us for IN THE NAME OF LOVE!
