Bear and The Barrel

Bear & The Barrel is a new variation on the classic variety show. Incorporating music, comedy and drama, Bear & The Barrel is an accessible live theatre experience for any guest. The variation relies on our live orchestra playing original scores written specifically for whatever is happening on the stage. The Bear & The Barrel orchestra will provide the soundtrack for short films, accompany featured musical guests, and complement the live narration that ties the entire production together.

The guests of a Bear & The Barrel production will be presented with plenty to consider. However, the show will be arranged in a way that creates a pleasant juxtaposition of media rather than a jarring frenzy of art. The thematic storyline will provide a reoccurring idea to grasp on to, but will not inhibit the artistic concepts that are conveyed through each independent facet of the show.

All taking place at The Old Arizona Theatre in South Minneapolis, music, film and theatre will combine to create a live installment presented intimately to one hundred guests. Bear & The Barrel is a chance to view a multitude of art through the medium of a story.
