Horse Girl Becomes the Moon
New evening-length dance piece by Mark Bankin.

Soliloquy in dance on themes of the ways memories are traced through the body, cows, nature, hypnosis, medieval portraiture, Japanese Horror, Giselle's Willis and Bluebeard.

Lighting designer Cheyenne Sykes emulates lightning, sunrises, and halos while an ever-changing soundscape blends nature sounds with contemporary neuroscience research on hypnosis.

Formulaic modern expressionist movement vocabulary choreographed into ruminatory compound cannons.

WARNING: This performance uses a lighting design that risks potentially triggering seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.
