An Evening with Mark Stuart

2231 Concerts is proud to welcome Mark Stuart for a unique evening of music and discussion about the craft of songwriting and the life of a working musician.

Mark is a full-time working artist and musician, mostly performing his own singer-songwriter concerts, although he is an in-demand sideman for live gigs and studio sessions in his hometown of Nashville. Notable artists such as Freddy Fender, Steve Earle, Joan Baez, and Steve Forbert have employed him for his musicianship, and he has toured all over the USA, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom. His style transcends easy definition, with elements of rock, blues, folk, country and more weaving a uniquely American tapestry.

As part of a duo with his wife, Stacey Earle, Mark has spent thousands of days on tour through the years and has released a number of albums on their own independent label, Gearle Records.
