Placer High 125th Anniversary Street Gala Celebration
Join us on Saturday, October 1, 2022, for a street gala in Old Town Auburn to celebrate Placer High's 125th Anniversary with a fundraising event like no other! Presented by the Hillmen Foundation, all proceeds will benefit Placer High and greater Auburn in the areas of academics, athletics and student activities.
The 125th Anniversary Street Gala features an evening of entertainment, music, dancing, food, fun, and friendship to benefit Placer High, including: Hillmen Plaza in the heart of the party will highlight special entertainment, programming, history, and other activities to celebrate the unique 125-year legacy of Placer High in Auburn. Hillmen Hop will have everyone dancing to a variety of bands scheduled throughout the evening, featuring many musicians with Placer High roots and from different eras. Food and Beverages are available for purchase at booths provided by local restaurants and bars, breweries, wineries, food trucks, and other groups. Friends and Fans will mingle throughout Old Town Auburn, offering opportunities to celebrate with current and former classmates, friends and fans of Placer High and the Auburn community.

*Note: if you donated $125 or more to the Hillmen Foundation through the Big Day of Giving or other fundraising efforts since July 1, 2021, you do not need to purchase a ticket here. You will receive information on how to garner admission to the October 1 celebration and will receive recognition based on gift level.
General Admission: $40 before October 1, includes a $5 drink/food ticket and tax-deductible donation to support Placer High $50 at the gate/day of the event, includes a $5 drink/food ticket and tax-deductible donation to support Placer High

Special 125th Anniversary Donors:** $125 includes General Admission, $10 drink/food tickets, a commemorative beverage glass, recognition as a special 125th donor, and tax-deductible donation to support Placer High $250 includes two General Admissions, $20 drink/food tickets, two commemorative beverage glasses, program acknowledgement, website listing, and recognition on event donor lists. $500 includes two General Admissions, $40 drink/food tickets, two commemorative beverage glasses, program acknowledgement, website listing, recognition on event donor lists, and special anniversary labeled wine or beer. ** Donation must be received by September 1, 2022, to ensure recognition in time for the celebration.

CLAIMING YOUR WRISTBAND FOR ENTRY You will need a valid photo ID (driver's license, state-issued ID, passport, or current PHS student ID) with your ticket (paper form or on your phone). We expect a large turnout for this celebration so we encourage you to pick up your wristband for entry in advance. Ticket holders can pick up their wristband at either the football game on Friday night, September 30 at LeFebvre Stadium; or the morning of Saturday, October 1 from 9 am to noon at the historic Placer County Courthouse in Old Town Auburn. Otherwise, wristbands will be distributed at the time of the event at the Placer County Courthouse, beginning at 4 pm.
Guests ages 21 or over who plan to purchase alcohol at the party must pick up their wristband in person as IDs will be checked and the wristband secured at that time. No one may pick up a 21+ wristband for another individual.
Guests under 21 or those who will not be purchasing alcohol will receive a separate wristband. These may be picked up by others by presenting the ticket.
ADA ACCESS It is recommended to park at the lot near Tio Pepe's behind the Old Firehouse. Parking in Old Town Auburn is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
COVID INFORMATION At the current time, masks are not required. The Hillmen Foundation will continue to monitor local COVID requirements and will adjust our policies as future changes may warrant. Purchasing this ticket means you agree to hold the Hillmen Foundation harmless should you contract COVID at this event. Please note that even if the event is canceled due to COVID, there will be no refunds per the policy below.
ALL SALES/DONATIONS ARE FINAL No refunds or exchanges. All proceeds are donated to the Hillmen Foundation to benefit Placer High School in the areas of academics, athletics and student activities.
You assume all risk and danger incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after said event. You assume all risk and danger of injury and you agree that the Hillmen Foundation, its agents, and the performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from such causes. No weapons, drugs, or glass containers allowed. You consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. The Hillmen Foundation reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by the foundation to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. Event is scheduled to happen rain or shine. However, in the event that it is canceled, no refunds will be provided as all proceeds are considered a donation to the Hillmen Foundation to support Placer High School.
ABOUT THE 125TH ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND: September 30-October 2, 2022 There is truly something for everyone who wants to celebrate Placer High's 125th Anniversary!
- Kickoff Football Game on Friday, September 30: Placer Hillmen vs. Ponderosa Bruins. Tickets to enter the football game are separate from the 125th Anniversary Weekend and can be purchased at the gate. - Street Gala Celebration, Saturday, October 1: Old Town Auburn to benefit PHS academics, athletics and student activities. Please see notes about how to secure your wristband for entry. - Alumni Picnic, Sunday October 2: FREE all-class reunion picnic at Auburn Recreation Park in the back park near Beggs Field. Bring your own food/beverages or food trucks will be available with items to purchase.

ABOUT THE HILLMEN FOUNDATION The Hillmen Foundation was established in 1989 by Jug Covich and Tom Johnson, two renowned PHS educators and principals. Its mission is to support academics, student activities, and athletics, including the staff, students, and alumni endeavors of the school; to stimulate gifts of service, endowments, and bequests; and to maintain an association of persons interested in Placer High School.
