The Ocean Room Soft Opening with Mark Growden & Amber Lee Baker
After years of work and a pandemic Skot Kuiper's newest venue, The Ocean Room, is ready to open its doors to audiences. Featuring live musical performances by Mark Growden and Amber Lee Baker.
Mark Growden is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, music educator, conductor, and visual artist. His music combines elements from classical jazz ensembles, New Orleans-style brass bands, cabaret fanfare, and circus troupes with the stark honesty of Appalachian folk ballads and African-American prison songs. Singer-songwriter and accordionist, Amber Lee Baker brings together smart lyrics and catchy melodies to create her unique brand of Sassy Folk-Cabaret. She has toured the US and Europe and is currently working on a new full length album of fresh sexy songs. Amber has been a contributor to the Accordion Babe Pin-Up Calendar and revolution since 2009.
