Tsukasa Taiko celebrates the 18th anniversary of Taiko Legacy concert from the Edlis Neeson Theater at Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Return to an in-person program, this year's presentation features the youth and adult community members alongside National Gintenkai Project performers and Chicago creative musicians.
Taiko Legacy is supported in part by The Illinois Arts Council Agency, The MacArthur Funds for Culture, Equity, and the Arts at the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation, the Alphawood Foundation, JCCC Foundation, Gaylord & Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, The City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), The Joyce Foundation, and National Endowment for the Arts.
This is an in-person event with open seating.
Per MCA guidelines, all attendees age 12 and older are required to show proof of full vaccination and ID prior to attending a performance and/or event in the MCAs Edlis Neeson Theater. Unvaccinated children under 12 must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult. Masks are required for all visitors and staff. All attendees must remain masked inside the venue, regardless of vaccination status. In-person presentation and participation requirements are subject to change, according to MCA and state COVID guidelines.
