Many people are afraid to can at home, but its far easier and safer than you might thin! Home canning has standards; start by downloading a free copy of the U.S. Department of Agricultures Complete Guide to Home Canning, 2015 revision, for reference. Then, come and join us at our Prepare to Preserve 5-week class series of five lessons for the in-home consumer who wants to learn about food preservation and food safety.
