Black River Falling
Best Live Performance of 2007 - Weekly Alibi's Best of Burque Reader's Poll
"Black River Falling explores the relationship among four sisters struggling to survive amidst the devastation and destruction of a natural disaster. In a lonely rural area of Wisconsin during the late 1800's, a small farm is ravaged by a devastating blizzard. As sole survivors, the sisters struggle with grief over the loss of their siblings, parents and husbands." TheaterSalon.com
Black River Falling opened in Albuquerque in 2007 and toured throughout Poland and Germany. This completely re-imagined version features an updated script, an intimate new design by David Torres, new choreography by Jennifer Predock-Linnell, and brand new songs from Snake Oil Market.
Featuring Hannah Kauffmann Banks, Dodie Montgomery, Katy Houska, and Hayley Mervini.
