WAC members and guests are invited to join Executive Coach Teri Citterman for an intimate conversation with two of Seattles top CEOs John Gabbert, Founder & CEO of PitchBook Data and Howard Wright, CEO of Seattle Hospitality Group. Join this discussion on leadership and engage in broadening the concepts traditional definition with a deep dive into a more personal conversation around lifes lessons while enjoying some happy hour libations. This career development event is expertly paired with two bottles of wine, each hand selected by our guest CEOs, and a curated charcuterie box from WAC Executive Chef Eric Floyd. Part of our discussion will be dedicated to why each CEO brought the bottle they did to the table.
About the CEOs:
Teri Citterman Executive coach of first-time CEOs, seasoned CEOs, and high-performers, Teri Citterman has interviewed countless leaders across diverse organizations. Answers to her favorite question, Beyond integrity, whats the one trait every great leader must possess? helped inform her book, From the CEOs Perspective: Leadership in Their Own Words. During a career that spans two decades of leadership coaching, Teri has become an award-winning writer, a regular contributor to Forbes and the Puget Sound Business Journal, a sought-after speaker, and a thought cultivator.
John Gabbert, Founder & CEO Pitchbook John Gabbert is the founder and CEO of PitchBook Data, Inc. John has more than 20 years of experience in building information technology products for capital market professionals. Prior to founding PitchBook in March of 2007, he was the Managing Director of Private Markets for Dow Jones & Company, and VP of Worldwide Research for VentureOne, VentureSource and The Private Equity Analyst. Throughout his career he has played a key role in six acquisitions/mergers (three as the acquired target and three as part of the acquiring/merged organization) by both strategic and private equity investors. He lives in Seattle with his wife Susan and their four children.
Howard Wright, Founder & CEO Seattle Hospitality Group Howard Wright is an executive, entrepreneur and aviator with deep business experience in the hospitality, transportation and tourism industries. He is widely recognized for his commitment to community and ability to bring together groups on all sides of an issue. Mr. Wright is Chairman of Seattle Hospitality Group (SHG), which he founded in 2002. His career trajectory was set by his background and passions. His family has long been involved in the tourism and hospitality industries with interests in several hotels and ownership of one of Seattles signature attractions, the Space Needle.
Howard Wright is a graduate of the Harvard Business Schools Owner/President Management Program. He lives in Seattle with his wife and son. In his leisure time, he continues to pursue his passion for flight, piloting vintage airplanes to fly-ins up and down the West Coast.
