Limited in their ability to physically connect they instead utilized similarities in space and prompts. Exploring the differences that manifested while discovering unsaid similarities. This piece celebrates stark contrasts, dark vs. light, nature vs. industrial space, ect. Having filmed completely separately and created content virtually each movers environment ( while seemingly the same) influences the end product. The repetitive movement and sound score are used to hypnotize the audience and transport them, with us, to different plains of reality. Forming subconscious relationships with the dancers as well as those not physically with us. // Choreographer: Monica Brady-Barnard Movement Artists: Maddy Petz Maria DiMarzio Nicole Gerkey Ashley Van Kampen Megan Van Kampen Elliott Vargas Glenna Jacaranda Teresa Pachniak Nadia Klug Video: Abby Barnett // For more information about Among Women please visit our social media pages....
