Mocktoberfest
Our mission is to raise money to provide 10 kids, chosen by lottery, with a music instrument of their choice and professional music lessons to learn in the style of their personal preference. Our staff, excluding a professional security team, is all local and all volunteer.
Mocktoberfest it is a four day event including musical performances, poignant films, and an art display. As a curated arts event, Mocktoberfest is designed to provide a holistic art and music experience. Attendees are encouraged to come in zombie costume and to bring their 'zines (local, small circulation, self-publications) for exchange at our Zine Library, the first of its kind in Vallejo. Since the goal of this event is to benefit local youth music, the event is for an all ages audience. There will be no alcohol, no drugs, no racism, no sexism, no violence, and the show ends at 10 pm sharp.
