Maximizing Your Tax Savings
Agenda The goal of this discussion will be to provide a greater knowledge of your own company structure and IRS tax code to help you potentially reduce your annual tax liability by hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Justin will be discussing the differences between operating a business as a sole-proprietor, LLC, or Corporation, and what the advantages or disadvantages of each are from a tax perspective. In addition, he will cover common tax mistakes and commonly missed deductions for business owners and employees to help reduce costly errors and avoid expensive and time-consuming audits. Finally, Justin will have a question and answer session covering all of your burning tax questions related or unrelated to the presentation.
Speaker Bio Justin Stephens, EA is an Enrolled Agent and owner/operator of Stephens Tax Services, a family-run business started in Sonoma County by his father, Lee Stephens, in 1983. Since that time, Stephens Tax Services has grown to serve more than 1,500 clients all over the country. Justin specializes in both individual and small business tax preparation, and handles every type of business tax entity from C-Corporations, to LLCs, Partnerships, S-Corporations, and Estates and Trusts.
