Expressive Ink Figure

Loosen up your style!

This unique workshop will introduce you to expressive pen and ink techniques while helping to loosen up your style when working with nude models. Each week you will be guided through fundamental figure drawing exercises honing in on various
aspects of drawing human form from photo/video references, including line work, value, gesture, and composition, whilst working to develop a loose and expressive style. In addition to learning a simple approach to quickly capturing the figure, various ways of creating rich, emotional images and telling a story will be examined.

No previous ink experience necessary. Previous figure drawing experience will be helpful but is not
required.

The class is virtual and will be taught via ZOOM. You will need to install ZOOM prior to the event. You will get a one time link to access the event. You can log on up to 1/2 hour prior to the event start.
