St. Cecilia Presents Annalisa Pappano
Good things come in small packages! This is an opportunity to explore the smallest member of the viola da gamba family, the pardessus de viole. Discover this intimate, clever music of the French Baroque for the rare instrument, the pardessus de viole. Only a few people in the world play this special stringed instrument that dates back to the glory days of Versailles. This concert will feature Annalisa Pappano, performing music that has not been heard since the days of Marie Antoinette.
