Into the Wild: Connecting to our indigenous nature
As part of Into the Wild Beltane Fire Festival, May 1st - May 4th
Master Shaman and Tribal Leader, Kurikindi from the Kichwa Tribe speaks on connecting to our indigenous nature.

Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Kurikindi was brought into the world living immensely close to nature and the earth. Being born into a strong shamanic lineage, Kurikindi received guidance from elders at a very young age. He learnt the ways of the rainforest and the ways of the medicine people, and of prayer: how to speak directly with the elements and Mother Earth.
In this talk, Kurikindi will share some of his indigenous knowledge and invite you to connect with your own indigenous nature.

Please plan ahead to join us to ensure you are able to be present. It is best to arrive at the talk 15 minutes early so that we can start on time.
Please register before 8am on the day of the event. From 9am, you will no longer be able to register.
The link will be sent to you through Brown Paper Ticket emails twice: 1 hour and 30 minutes before the call - please check your inbox (and junk!) for access.

During Meeting Practicalities
Please use your correct name when joining the Zoom call.
Be ready at 9:45 so that we are able to start on time.
At the beginning of the talk, Miriam will mute all microphones. Until then you are welcome to greet each other. Please maintain mindfulness during this time.
This is a space for Deep Listening. Please respect the virtual space and Kurikindi's teaching through your openness.
If there is time one or two questions, this will be facilitated by Miriam. We invite you to write your questions on the Zoom Chat at any point during the talk using "QUESTION" before writing - this helps us to find them more easily. As much as possible, keep other conversations on the Zoom Chat to a minimum.
If we are to have a Q&A, Miriam will invite you to ask your question, whereby organic dialogue can occur. This is to better manage our time together. Thank you for your understanding.
Please keep your microphone muted unless speaking. Please turn mobile phones off during the talk to make way for clearer connection.
Reserve your place before 8am Friday. Registration closes completely at 9am.
(It is better to plan ahead, before Thursday evening where possible!) We will send the Zoom link to everyone registered twice: 1 hour and 15 minutes before the talk begins.
