Kurikindi is an indigenous tribal leader and medicine man of the Kichwa Tribe. He is a wisdom keeper and shaman, working with plants and his indigenous wisdom. Kurikindi is totally dedicated to bringing harmony to the planet.
Twice a year, Kurikindi takes on students who wish to train in the shamanic way working together to support greater harmony amongst humanity as warriors of the light. It is a big undertaking, one of humility and compassion serving the light of the world.
On this retreat, Kurikindi will offer an in-depth introduction into what training in this path entails. He will offer his observation and attention to your existing gifts, giving advice and direction on how to enhance your natural capacity and where you may need to strengthen your abilities.
If you have considered this training but found yourself asking the questions:
Am I ready? How do I prepare? What in my own personal system needs greater awareness? How do I enhance my gifts? What can I do to train in areas where I may not be so confident?
What does this intensive training involve?
Alternatively, if you are a healer, therapist, or find yourself in a position of service to the wellness of your surroundings, this weekend will give you an intensive insight into bringing the wealth of shamanic wisdom that Kurikindi holds, into your existing paths.
Kurikindi is an incredibly humble man, with shamanic lineage in both his parental lines. His skill and capacity was noticed by those around him at 4 years of age. And so, he began intensive training with elders of the amazon rainforest at just 9 years old. Always a student to life and continuously learning, Kurikindis lifetime of serving humanity as a yachak makes him an incredible teacher. His openness and kindness, patience and attentiveness is a teaching in itself.
When walking this path with Kurikindi, personal cleansing is very important. The weekend will include personal cleansing working with the medicine plants of Tobacco and Chilli familial plants of Kurikindis lineage.
This weekend will give greater guidance to support your preparations if you wish to study with Kurikindi, or your existing healing work. He speaks very truthfully and from the heart to directly support you.

This Retreat will be held at a beautiful house in rural Herefordshire. Over 500 years old, this home has a unique aliveness to it. Still with the original medieval woodwork, this space offers a history and holding of its own. On the grounds, you can wander and find ancient trees, beautiful lakes and a spring. Nourishing meals provided by our host and homeowner James is included in the price. Upon booking, please do write to us if you have any dietary requirements or preferences. The address is sent after booking.
All food will be local and organic as much as is possible.
Accommodation is shared, either in the main house or in external buildings, including two very picturesque bell tents. If you do wish for completely private space, you are welcome to bring a tent along with you. In any case, please do bring your own bedding (although some will be available if this is difficult, i.e. you are coming by train) beds/mattresses will be provided.
