WTS Professional Development Workshop 2020
Join us on April 10 for the annual Professional Development Workshop! This year we will tackle negotiation and navigating tough conversations with Dr. Christina Fong, a principal lecturer in the Management and Organization Department at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business. This half-day workshop will focus on how women show up at the negotiation table and will examine new approaches that empower women to become more effective leaders. Dr. Fong will integrate cutting edge research, theoretical frameworks, and practical advice to help participants rethink how they approach tough conversations.

This workshop will encourage participation, discussion, and peer-teaching throughout three sessions: - Women in Transportation: How to Gain Visibility and Influence - Redefining Negotiation for Women: Gender Effects and Womens Superpowers - Mastering Difficult Conversations: Being an Effective Influencer Up, Down, and Laterally
