Love Songs & Duets- SOLD OUT
The Valentine's Dinner Show at Quincy's Fox&Hound Tavern and Restaurant will showcase some of the most powerful love songs from all genres. There will be something for everyone. The solos and duets will be performed by local favorites Diva Athene Wilson and baritone and producer Gordon Michaels.
Athene Wilson has accompanied many local artists including, Larry Watson, Andre Ward, Walter Beasley and several other bands. Ms. Wilson also worked with such renowned artists as Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole and Smokey Robinson as a background singer. Most recently Athene and her band opened for renowned recording artist Freddie Jackson at the Berklee Performance Center.
Gordon Michaels has won many singing competitions throughout New England & New York area. In 2009 he was the Boston winner of the David Foster/Name Drop.com singing competition. Mr. Michaels' reputation as a premiere vocalist has led to performances with internationally known singers Patti Labelle, Jennifer Holiday, James Taylor, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Cissy Houston, Keith Lockhart, Tramaine & Edward Hawkins, Natalie Cole, and special guest soloist with Harlem Gospel Choir to sing for Pope John Paul II. Gordon is celebrated in the Boston area for creating the Original House of Blues Gospel Brunch that started in Harvard Square Cambridge, MA.
