Higher Keys/Hot Pitches Concert
The Higher Keys, Brown University's oldest all-gender a cappella group (founded in 1983), are on visiting the Bay Area on our winter break tour, and we are performing a concert at Berkeley High School! Past tours have taken the Keys all over the United States and as far as Athens, Greece. The Higher Keys have the largest repertoire of any (of the 15) Brown University a cappella groups, with songs ranging from jazz classics to pop and R&B ballads.
The concert will be opened with a performance by The Hot Pitches, Berkeley High School's first student-run a cappella group! This opening performance will likely last around 15 minutes. After the Pitches are finished performing, the Higher Keys will perform for around an hour.
Tickets will also be sold at the door: $5 for students, and $10-$20 pay-what-you-wish for general admission. Ticket sales will go to The Higher Keys to help support travel expenses.
The concert will be performed at Berkeley High in room A201, which is near the Milvia Street/Allston Way entrance, and will begin at 6:30pm.
Contact Maxime Hendrikse Liu, Business Manager for the Higher Keys (and former president of the Hot Pitches) with any questions, at maxime_hendrikse_liu@brown.edu.
