The Yale Russian Chorus at Unity Center of Peace
Unity Center of Peace is delighted to welcome this world-renowned musical group for this stop on their 2020 Winter Tour. Founded in 1953, the Yale Russian Chorus has delighted the world with sacred and secular music of the Slavic world for 65 years. Their repertoire spans the twelfth century to the twenty-first, stretching across Eastern Europe and Eurasia from Slovakia to Georgia, from Carnegie Hall to the White House, reflecting a musical range as broad as the continent itself. They were the first Western musical group to tour the Soviet Union in 1960, and since then have continued to live out a mission of performing music that unites people across the world and art that crosses global boundaries. Tickets for this special event are $15 ($10 with student ID).
