Who is Kurikindi?
Kurikindi is a medicine man, a shaman in the western language, and a Yachak in his own: a person with wisdom who receives messages from the divine and nature. He was born in Ecuador to the Kichwa Tribe, into a very long shamanic lineage and was seen to have the shamanic gift at a young age. Kurikindis shamanic life began at the tender age of 9, and he has trained extensively for over three decades. He was taught by both his mother and father and many other tribal elders of the amazon rainforest, including nature herself. He is incredibly humbled by having such a nourishing upbringing. Currently based between the UK and Ecuador, Kurikindi is sharing his knowledge and healing with the people of the UK. With energy that is lovingly strong, he speaks openly and is always willing to answer any questions, and take care of what needs to be done.

The Medicine Retreat
Kurikindi offers healing ceremonies with plants that he has been working with for a very long time. The connection with these plants has been passed on to him through his fathers and mothers lineage. These plants are Tobacco, Ginger, Chilli and Guayusa.
We will be working with the plant medicines Tobacco and Chilli. The people of the rainforest work with the Tobacco medicine for clarity of sight, to heighten awareness and the veracity of all senses, to bring strength, to cleanse, to treat wounds, and for deep purification and more. The chilli medicine has been used by indigenous tribes for centuries, if not for thousands of years. Again, chilli clears sight, and in the rainforest it is said that the chilli medicine works to remove the traumas, to purify the eyes and open the inner vision.
Kurikindi brings a connection to the spirit of the plants, enabling us to make contact and cleanse, communicate and heal in ways that may not have been accessible before.

Booking & Cost
The Medicine Retreat Day costs £180, or £160 Early Bird if booked before December 14th. This price is inclusive of refreshments and a lovingly prepared lunch.
To hold your place, a deposit of £60/80 is to be made in advance, with the final £100 paid in cash on your arrival. Alternatively, you are welcome to pay in full in advance of the retreat.
Booking well in advance is most advised.

Private Healing Sessions
Kurikindi is offering private healing sessions on Sunday 22nd December, the day following our Medicine Retreat. These must be pre-booked in advance and cost £75 per session.
Please note that it is not a requirement for you to attend the day retreat to make a private booking, though you are more than welcome and encouraged to come along to both.
These sessions last up to one hour. Bookable by the hour from 9am-5pm. Please email Miriam to make your arrangements, putting PRIVATE BOOKING as the title of your email and sharing your desired time allocation in the first instance.

Kurikindi continues with his greatest efforts to support his community in Ecuador, protecting the land and the rainforest from ongoing battles with oil companies. A percentage of the retreat proceeds go towards supporting Kurikindis work in his homelands.
