Both sung in english. Based on Virgil's "Aeneid", Dido & Aeneas is the story of two ill fated lovers who are sabotaged by an evil sorceress. originally written for and performed in a london girl's school circa 1689, this short, beautiful, and entertaining baroque opera has it all.
