VanDeca presents: Sound Bite
Join us for our most deliciously fun concert yet!
Together, we will explore the diversity of sounds that can be produced by human voices.
The use of syllables to emulate instruments, rhythmic breathing, overtone singing, beat boxing, and a variety of other extended vocal techniques will flavour the performance far beyond the usual choral sound. With music from baroque to EDM, you're sure to hear something that suits your taste.
We are particularly excited to be singing the first movement from Partita For 8 Voices by Caroline Shaw (as performed by Roomful of Teeth)
Also, as is the VanDeca way, we will be singing a few original arrangements by choir members.
