Featuring interviews with Jamie Foxx, Angela Bassett, Pharrell Williams, Common, Patti LaBelle and Smokey Robinson, The Apollo examines the influence the theater has had on American music and culture for 85 years and the current state of race in America as it follows the creation of a new multimedia adaptation of Ta-Nehisi Coates book Between the World and Me for the theaters grand stage.
Q&A with Director Roger Ross Williams and Producer Lisa Cortés, moderated by AAFCA Film Critic Carla Renata.
