This months Bourbon Excursion features five tastings from Garrison Brothers Distillery, the first legal whiskey distillery in Texas history and is one of the first distilleries in America outside of Kentucky to produce authentic, handmade bourbon whiskey and only bourbon whiskey.

At the American Craft Spirit Awards in 2016, they were awarded a gold medal for their Cowboy Bourbon™, silver medal for their 2016 Vintage Small Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey and another silver for their Texas Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible has named Garrison Brothers Cowboy Bourbon "the American Micro Whiskey of the Year" in 2014 and again in 2017. Last year, the distillery was voted the Best Craft Whiskey Distillery in America by readers of the USA Today.

This tasting will include five expressions:
Small Batch (Texas Straight Small Batch Bourbon Whisky | 94 Proof)
Single Barrel (Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey | 94 Proof)
Estacado (Port-Finished Straight Bourbon Whiskey | 107 Proof)
Balmorhea (Twice-Barreled Bourbon Whiskey | 115 Proof)
The Cowboy (Uncut & Unfiltered Straight Bourbon Whiskey | 137.3 Proof)
