Concerts@Dayspring presents Euphony: "I Hear America Singing"
Euphony, an ensemble of ASU graduates and friends, presents a varied program of settings of American poetry. The program includes such classics as "Frostiana," Randall Thompson's timeless setting of poetry by Robert Frost, and Norman Dello Joio's "Jubilant Song." The program also includes a Rosephanye Powell setting of a Langston Hughes poem, music by Alice Parker, and a piece by the rising young composer Dale Trumbore. And at the end, Eric Whitacre's delightful "Animal Crackers" on the witty poems of the irrepressible Ogden Nash.
Childcare is provided! Dayspring has ample free parking!
