ABP (the ACADEMY BLUES PROJECT) is a multigenre quartet based in NYC blending electric storytelling and elements of psychedelia, power pop, funk & surreal soul into an irresistibly singular sound. The band's live shows, drawing from a diverse catalog of the band's songs and dozens of unexpected, crate-digging covers, have never featured the same setlist twice in eight years of performances.

DAMON SMITH is a Northeast-based pianist, songwriter, improviser. He started his career at the Paul Green School of Rock, performing and touring with artists such as Jon Anderson of Yes and Napoleon Murphy Brock of Frank Zappa's band. Damon is a founding member of two bands: The Jacobins and Cricket. His debut solo album, "Intimate Machinery," came out on ERASED! tapes in December 2017. He recently self released his second album, God of the Grid.
