SCMS Presents Chamber Soloists of Austin
Friday January 16, 2009 8:00 pm "Palette of Musical Colors" brings together contrasting music to captivate your imagination. The arrangement of a Mozart piano sonata, led by Karl Kraber, is followed by the unabashedly romantic Vaughan Williams quintet, featuring violas. Beethovens Archduke is regarded as the greatest of all works written for piano trio. It was written for Rudolph, Archduke of Austria, a pupil, benefactor and dear friend of Beethoven. Gregory Allen performs with Elise Winters and Doug Harvey. For more information go to: http://www.chambersoloists.com. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for students.
