From the longest night to the return of light, we sing the many facets of the season - with a distinctly Canadian accent. Pieces by Harris, Thompson, Ingari, Lightfoot and others illuminate the many moods of winter. We welcome the rich vocal harmonies and dynamic rhythms of our guest artists, the Franco-Ontarian fiddle trio Ariko.
Carmina Burana: Sacred and Profane

Life may be transient, but the epic Carmina Burana endures. Springtime and dancing, drinking and gambling - virtues and vices alike tumble when Fortuna spins her wheel. Complementing Orff's monumental work is an intimate set of pieces inspired by the Song of Solomon that focus on themes of love and nature. Featured composers include Willan, Whitacre, Grieg, Antognini and Delius.

A programme of pieces that have especially touched our hearts and are certain to win yours. Featuring some of the best-loved choral gems of the past five centuries, by Palestrina, Tallis, Rheinberger, Barber, Lauridsen, the Beatles and others.

You can pick up your tickets for all three concerts at the first concert of the season, on December 14, 2019. Simply stop at the ticket table on your way into the concert and your tickets will be waiting for you.
Children 12 and under: Children are admitted free to our concerts. To reserve a seat for a child, please go to the individual event page.
